Scrapbook for Micah

  I made this scrapbook as a gift for Amanda at her baby shower. Micah will be the first boy since Bryce 22 years ago. The main book is made from Cosmo Cricket. I had a old 8x8 pack and a few papers and chipboard from Lil' Man. I added some extras from my stash and a lot of ribbon.Thanks for looking.

I started my scrapbook on Lilie. I don't have very many pictures yet, I'm sure eventually I will have plenty to fill this album and many more. I really like to use a lot of different embellishments on my pages. Here I've included two roses made from fabric, some buttons and a barrett I found at the thrift store. The main paper line is Spring by Dear Lizzy.

My new camera.

I just bought this Fugi last week. It is an instant film camera, the photos are the size of a business card. I think it will be great for scrapbooking. Britt has taken a few pics with it already. I hope to have some new photos from it soon. I want to make a mini album using only pics from this camera.

Heather and I are on our way to Scrapbook Expo 2009. I hope this will encourage both of us to do more scrapbooking and post our work. We both have big stashes and big ideas. I have joined a Christmas card swap and they are to be homemade so that is one of the things I will be focusing on this fall. I would also like to make mini albums for a few of my friends to give as Christmas gifts. Lets hope I can get everything done.

Convention

Scrapbook convention is this week. Me and Becca cannot decide if we should go or not. Neither one of us really NEED anything, but there are some things that we WANT.
