Becca's Creations!

Becca has been working very hard at her paper projects.
She had a scrap box. When you open it there are different tiles that you can scrap on - either put photos or journal. She gave this to me for my birthday. I have not decided what to do with it yet.






















She also made some paper boxes. I used them as part of a display for a jewelry party. They were the perfect size and would be a very pretty way to give a gift of jewelry!

Note Cards

I made several of these note cards to give as a gift for my friend Barb. I used pictures from an old sewing book and added them to colored card stock. Then I added some ribbon to the side. They were very simple to make and turned out cute. I know she will like them.

So Many Projects, So Little Time

I have started several projects, but have not had time to finish them. I have 2 mini albums that the paper is on but I need to add the photos and embellishments. I have the photos picked out and most of the embellishments. It is just a matter of having time to put them together. Plus I bought some new things at the scrapbook convention that I need to start.
Maybe since the weather is changing, I will be inside more and have more time to scrapbook. I have LOTS of ideas and even more supplies. Now I just need the time.

Becca Went Crazy!

Yesterday me & Becca went to the Scrapbook Convention. And Becca actually drove. It only took an extra few minutes to get there. It was not a bad drive.
Becca told me that she was only going for me and would probably only buy a few things. Then ... we get there!! And Becca went CRAZY!! She spent almost all of her money within the first 20 minutes!! I had to hold her back a few times!
But in the end, it was a nice shopping (and eating) day.
We will take some pictures of our new projects when we complete them.

Today is the big day !

Paper, stickers, rub-ons and so much more! Today we're going to the scrapbook convention. I am hoping to come home with lots of ideas for new scrapbooks and also for other projects using the supplies from scrapbooking. I like to make my own cards so I am always looking for new ways to use the things I have. It should be a good day.

Scrapbook Convention

The IL Scrapbook Convention in St Charles is in 4 days. It only happens once a year.
Me & Becca are going. For the past few years, I have had to drive, but this year Becca is driving. She does not do expressways, so the trip should be very interesting. I know that she is some how going to try to make me drive.... We'll see.
Hopefully I will be able to find the BEACH album that I want - not to be confused with BELIEVE. ;) I am also hoping to find some of the new Basic Grey and Rusty Pickle. There is also a stand with a bunch of chip board die cuts and mini albums that I want to check out. Hopefully we find some good deals!
We are going to SHOP IT UP!!! We have been saving our pennies.
Very exciting!

Total Bust!

My last 2 scrapbook ideas/plans were a total bust!
First, I had started to make a mini album of Kylie. I had a bunch of pics from a certain day. I wanted the whole album to be of the same day. I started to put it together and when I went to figure out what picture would go on what page, I realized that I was 2 pictures short. I can probably do journaling on 1 of the empty pages, but what about the other?
Then I was planning on doing a beach mini book. I bought a Bo Bunny BEACH word album and had it all planned out. When I pulled out the album to start planning, I saw that I did not get the BEACH album, but the Christmas BELIEVE one.
What a total BUST!!!!
